Yeah, you could say that. Most of them are in TEX, but there are a lot of exceptions.. it looked even more messy before

You did watch my Video , because the Light Points Bugs , and some in the Main Menu , Death / Fail Screen etc. ?

Another one in The Pad , Stars in or on the Dancefloor :D

Seems like it could be sprites that doesn't scale correctly. looks like they are 4 times bigger than what they are supposed to be. Maybe the .spr file contains scaling information as well?

Yeah , is the old known Scale problem , i had compare with the default , this are very Tiny Light Stars :D

Try to delete TEX/FLARES/ from HD-TEX...REZ
It could be them))

And INTERFACE/MISSIONFAILURE.PCX from HD-COMMON..REZ
And MENU/SPRTEX from HD-COMMON..REZ for big arrows

Yeah , that fix the Flare in the Pad , and the Big Arrows ((awwsmile)) , of course are the old Default Textures :D

But it dosn't fix the too much Flares on the Moon which is a Light Source , i have find out that must be in HD-TEX4-X4.REZ 1 or More Textures in TERRAIN , or some Dat File ?
I have compare this with the Vanilla Version , the Moon Light More/Less when look UP or Down. , and this is exact the same behaviour with the Flares like in my Video. !

I have find out , the small dot with the Cigarette Lighter , dosn't affect your Texture Mod. , i think is because Widescreen/Ultrawide , i have sometimes seen something with Ultrawide , what i have never seen before played Nolf in the 2000s :D

Edit , it must be in the Dat File/s , i have complettly Replace/Removed the Terrain Textures !

I had only load HD-TEX4-X4.REZ , which only include the TEX/TERRAIN. , and even the Patched Dat Files.
Or do you mean Remove TEX/LIGHTS from Nolf.rez File ?

Mission : Missfortune in Morocco Scene 4
Test it only with loaded HD-TEX4-X4.REZ

If you are loading HD-TEX - you need to load all of them
And by deleting I meant repacking REZ file

But I'll try this mission myself. I went from Night Berlin to mission with miss Vagner without problems by now.

Yes i know , i had just load HD-TEX4-X4.REZ , to find out which Rez cause the problem , of course the problem is too with all Loaded Rez Files :D
Yes i know with Winrez , do you mean Rerez Nolf.rez ?
But does the Game still Works with Removed TEX/Lights ??

You can then reproduce this Light Problem ?

You shouldn't remove anything in nolf.rez, since these are the original game files.
the LIGHTS and FLARES folders that he mentioned are located in HD-TEX1-X4.REZ

Also, the upscaled Interface & Menu folders are located in HD-COMMON1-X4.REZ

The above explains how rez files are loaded into the game, the file version which is loaded last is the one that is used.
for example: You can see here that mission 11 Scene 1 was replaced with the later update 1.003.

The upscaling mod would be loaded before or after modernizer in this case.

This loading method also goes for textures, the last version loaded will be the one that is used.

Yes , that with the Interface & too Big Mission Failure Screen & Flares was Fixed !
i had just extract the Original Files , and Rez it as smal Fix. ((awwsmile))

Yes , i know that with the Loading Order :D . thats all right , because to avoid that with HD or some Mods , i have reneme both Nolf Rez File in Data 1 &2 , and i know that from Another Games with the Loading Order , ex. Jedi Knight 2 JO/JA and ATS/ETS2 !

I have rezez HD-TEX1-X4.REZ without Flares / Lights , the too much Lights on the Moon , are still there
i had too remove all Mods or Rename all HD-X in zHD-X , to load it as last Files in the Order , no Success.

I have it too , Tested with X2 , same Remove the Flares & Lights in zHD-TEX1-X2.REZ , there it show 4 Dots

m01s04.dat is the File
I can next time send my Savegame Folder , but i think that must be an missing Edit !

I already went to this mission and also had this bug. I don't know what is causing it for now. It's interesting what texture is used for this light effect on the moon, cause I dunno

Well, aside from Morocco I didn't stumbled upon such visual bugs (now finished Rendezvous in Berlin).
I think I could fix that but I need to know the name of the texture they used in this mission. And the file name of the mission. Since it's the first mission of the game, it must be called M01XX.DAT or something. I think all I need to do is to find this texture and reverse UV vectors upscaling just for this texture. I could do it manually, but I need to know the name

The name of the .Dat can easily be found if you activate the console in nolf 1.006 modernizer. Just check your controls for a hotkey for this.
