If you go into regedit and browse to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/SOFTWARE/WOW6432Node/Monolith Productions/No One Lives Forever/1.0
And set the EndGame key to 0x00000001, you can load whatever mission you want. The game will then think that you completed it once

I don't have the save no. But there is also cheat codes. Press T and type mpmaphole to skip to next mission, should probably have started with that but didn't think of it

Such bugs needs to be fixed by hand in DAT file by reversing upscale changes just for this flare texture vectors.

But I'm slightly lazy to upscale the whole pack of textures, and I don't even know if they will scale properly in game.
Funny thing: Instead of using TEX/FLARES directory for world textures for moon they used SFX sprites directory.
And in another place with bugged scaled flares they used TEX/FLARES instead of using SFX sprites.
That's the origin of this bugs.
I'll check DAT files for using textures from SFX and will think of how to solve this. I'm really not sure that SFX sprites will scale well if I upscale them.

Well, I tried to upscale some files from SFX folder - and they break the scaling in the game
So for now the only thing I can to do prevent it - is to manually revert UV vectors for Moon/Sun Flares in DAT files
I also found that water textures from SFX used for some level details. Will check them now if upscaling water will break anything.
Need more time to analyze DAT files and SFX files they use
P.S. And the only reason for all of this is because developers USED TEXTURES FROM THE WRONG FOLDER!!!! They shouldn't used SFX sprites for world models, they have TEX folder for that.

I went through all the official maps and found this cases of misusing SFX sprites textures for world models
Theoretically I can upscale all the SFXs and change scale for particles, but:
1. They already look good as they are, it will change nothing in visuals
2. I'm not sure DAT file template even describes particles section
And without modifying DAT particles scales simple upscaling of particle DTXs brakes the scaling of the particles (while fixing scaling for sprites used in world models)
It's easier to just manually reverse UV vectors changes for this models
I think I need some manual with screenshots so anyone could do it)) Some theoretically work on how game handles upscaled textures and how to use all the tools. For the community (I really want AvP 2 upscaled to play, but tired of doing it myself)
