I recently made a page where I wanted to upload all CJ and NOLF mods, maps and other resources, and i'm still looking for a few newswriters / article writers or download "makers", if you are interested, i would be gratful, if you can register at the page so that you can start! All others here can of course register there, too and post a bit.
Additional I linked the popularest CJ & NOLF forums (of course spawnsite's, too), and made a gallery, where every user can post a pic of himself.

Sounds like something we don't have yet. Make sure you promote it everywhere.

And I'll gladly write some stuff. One question, though: you don't have a forum, but you do have a login/register option? How does that work?

The login function is for already registered members, who can log in and are able to write news (if i gave the rights), post arcticles, set downloads, etc!
I don't wanted to create another new forum, because there are already great NOLF and CJ forums (like this one). If you have registered, i'll try to give you your rights as fast as possible.

So how would we coordinate things like if we wanted to have standard criteria for mapreviews?

Thats a nice Idea to make map reviews, I never thaught about it!
But if you want we can discuss a bit and ill post it at the page that everyone knows ho to write these reviews!

I wanted to link the NOLF & CJ mods, mappacks, etc to your page, but you have some strange download scripts here, so it doesn't work! Can you give me the direct download locations (means the .exe files), per PM? Than it would be much easier to make the downloads at nolfmods.

I've posted this there as well, but just to be sure I'll add it here too:

I'm trying to post an article, but it isn't working. Smaller texts do make it, but the big one doesn't. Is there a maximum nr. of characters, is it because I cut and paste from wordpad, something else? Anyone know this or some good resources on this?

Actually it SHOULD work...
Do you tried to copy and paste the Text partly and then save it?
Or paste one Part and save, then the next part, save, and so on?

Alright, it worked for a bit... word by word... not copying but typing... sometimes it gets it sometimes it doesn't... I'm now at 50 views for my article ... it picks up smileys ok but actual words... no... tried it both in IE and FF... no difference... shut down everything in the background... nothing... thought I'd look up that webspell thingy, see if they have a help or forum and I get... a timeout!

(And when I want to add the last bit as a comment I get: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: safe_query() in /usr/export/www/vhosts/funnetwork/hosting/nolfmods/comments.php on line 127!)
