Hello there :) You can still use Winrez by blackangel Software. The tools should work just fine with modernizer as well. I think the main reason why he removed cate from the main menu was because of resolution and widescreen. It would look weird when the animation start and ends.

It will not fully support modernizer since it uses the 1x3 language files which isn't updated with the menu text that comes with modernizer

you could have kept 2 copies of Update_v1x3.rez too, and just renamed 1 of them. It is a tiny rezfile
