To get back to non-lithtech games - I recently found Grim Fandango. Not as cheap as you'd expect after all this time, but good to finally have it! :D Oh I imagine it wasn't cheap ... its a very sought after game. Why they just don't re-release it I'll never know. I loved those point-n-click games ...

Just to add ... like Coty said viz blocking is harder with NOLF1. The best rule of thumb is to make levels that are built not to lag. Connecting U or S shaped hallways (etc.).
